COT Indicator Suite Downloads

To install and use the COT indicator suite on MT4, download both of the installers below and the COT report symbols Excel sheet and follow the documentation PDF.

COT Updater App

The COT Updater App downloads the COT data directly from the CFTC website onto your PC and formats it for use by our COT Indicators on your MT4 platform(s).

COT MT4 Indicators

The COT indicators are packaged together in an easy to use installer that will add the indicators to your MT4 platform(s).

COT Report Symbols

Here is an Excel list of symbols (separated by exchange) that you can use to pull data from the CFTC website using the COT Updater App, please add the symbols you wish to pull data for to the Updater App, as they are not all added by default.

To add an instrument to your Updater App go to Options > Instruments > Add.

Copy the symbol name of your choice from the Excel list and paste it into the Instrument Name field > add a Short Name in the next field (the short name is used in the indicator parameters on MT4) > select the Report Format you want to pull > click Ok.

Close the Instruments window > select All Years in the drop down > click Update.

Once complete, restart your MT4 terminal and the new instrument data will be ready to use by the indicators using the Short Name in the parameters.
